Had a nice time visiting with you last week. I wanted to give you my dad's time of service in the Navy. He was in WW2 from 5-44 to 5-46. He was granted early leave because his dad was very ill. He was drafted for the Korean Conflict and served from 9-51 to 12-52. He left his wife Mary with a 6 month old baby, and as the story goes, went AWOL in San Fransico, on his way to Korea, because his pay was not set up to be sent to his wife and child, and he needed to get that taken care of before he left the states.

It was always my understanding the "Satan's Dreamboat" was written during the Korean War. In cleaning out Dad's condo in Portland, the original copy is no doubt packed away some where and we can't find it. My thought is there might be a date on it but I am not sure nor do I think it is of great concern.

One other comment...My Mom's maiden name is "Biergans", not "Bergans".

Your work on this project is clarly a labor of love.
